Work Experience Required: Minimum 7 Years experience in Abrasives.

Educational Qualification:
Bachelor / Master Degree  (Mechanical, Industrial, Production, Automobile, Electrical)
Minimum 60% / CGPA - 6

Roles & Responsibilities:

Activity

  • Assume complete ownership of the product on An India Basis and achieve the budgeted sales for the product while maintaining profitability from the product. Assist Product Manager to strategize and execute action plans to achieve Sales Budget.
  • Assisting Head Marketing For Forecasting &  Feeding to sourcing to avoid any sales loss  & Gaining Market Share.  
  • Lost Business Analysis & Regain Strategy.
  • Create End-User Connect
  • Market Intelligence Network.

Marketing Guide Lines & Rules for Product

  • Provide  Application / Usage Parameters in consultation with the vendor
  • In-house pre-launch Testing and benchmarking.
  • Developing product catalogues, technical fly sheets, and marketing guidelines for products in coordination with Regional Heads.
  • Assisting the Product Manager in defining performance and application parameters for the product.

Pricing

  • Formulating product position strategy and deciding the overall pricing policy within the zone. 
  • Taking approvals for special pricing (outside the coverage of general sales policy) from the Management.
  • Analyzing sales and profitability trends - Monthly / Quarterly /Yearly and monitoring regularly.

Tracking of Trials and Approvals

  • Tracking and accountability of all samples issued for trials.
  • Tracking approvals for products after trials and conversion of trials into orders.
  • Visiting and meeting with customers to develop confidence in the customer.

Development

  • Identifying new products as per the market requirements.
  • Focus on dormant dealers/customers in coordination with local sales teams and regain business by working closely on customer concerns.
  • Technical training and development of sales force: Preparing a knowledgebase of application and sharing it with the sales team to replicate and capture similar business opportunities in different geographies.

Organizing promotional activity

  • Be present at seminars and customer meets to provide technical inputs.
  • Circulation of Success stories and Technical bulletin to sales teams across the country.
  • Coordinating with manufacturing and sales teams/customers to fulfill orders/requirements.
  • Enhancing market intelligence by tracking competition procedures, products, pricing, etc.
  • Monitoring the sales execution practices of channel sales teams/business development teams when in field visits with them and coaching them wherever needed.
